James Webb captures evidence of carbon dioxide in distant planet's atmosphere

The James Webb Space Telescope for the first time has found clear evidence of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere of a planet that's not in our solar system, according to NASA .

The planet researchers detected with the Webb Telescope is WASP-39 b, a gas giant orbiting a star 700 light-years away. Back in 2018, through the Hubble and Spitzer telescopes, NASA detected a large amount of water vapor on the planet along with traces of sodium and potassium.

NASA's James Webb Space Telescope has found the first clear evidence of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere of a planet outside our solar system, NASA says.

The telescope found the carbon dioxide around a gas giant planet, WASP-39b, which is orbiting a Sun-like star 700 light-years away, NASA said in a statement. A gas giant is a planet mostly composed of helium and/or hydrogen, with a solid core.

Robots could help to detect mental wellbeing issues in children, study finds

Cambridge University researchers had a child-sized humanoid robot complete a series of questionnaires with 28 children aged between eight and 13 to assess mental wellbeing.

They found that the youngsters were willing to confide in the robot, sometimes sharing information that they had not yet shared via online or in-person questionnaires.

Do you get lazy about brushing your teeth? Well, soon microbots could do the whole thing for you.

The development could be particularly useful for those who lack the manual dexterity to clean their teeth effectively themselves.

Robots Chop a Few Bucks off the Price of Lunch at This Fully Automated Restaurant

Even before labor shortages and supply chain issues began plaguing the economy, the food service industry was bringing in robots. From flipping burgers to making pizzas , automation has been taking over a variety of food preparation tasks.

The restaurant is located in an outdoor food court in San Francisco's Mission Bay neighborhood, alongside similar businesses. The similar businesses are namely food trucks, which is probably a more accurate label for Mezli than "restaurant," except for the important detail that it's not a truck.

Supply chain firm NFI inks $10M deal to deploy Boston Dynamics’ Stretch robots – ...

I admit to having my doubts when Boston Dynamics announced it was getting into the already crowded warehouse/logistics field. One could certainly make the case that Stretch is a bit over-engineered and ultimately a bit of overkill for most situations.

That said, a second big firm has put down a sizable order for the ‘bots. It's a strong vote of confidence for what is still a new system. New Jersey-based supply chain firm NFI has agreed to order $10 million worth of Stretches for its U.S. warehouses.

The historic winter that hit Texas in February of last year broke all illusions that our grids are designed to handle the effects of climate change. As such, how we design energy projects needs to evolve with this climate reality.

This modern process played out in Plano, Texas, at a large shopping mall. Our team recently partnered with Empower Energies for a client that didn't know they had a problem until it was too late.

Dwarf planets are smaller planets that do not meet all three categories of a planet. According to NASA, they are round in shape and orbit the sun, but don't clear their orbital path.

Recruiting demons in Soul Hackers 2 is a very different process than how fans of the Persona series know it to be. In that game, you enter into demon negotiations where you talk with demons to try and lure them to your side, often costing some cash, while fighting them.
