HELSINKI — China aims to construct an array of telescopes in deep space to search for habitable planets orbiting other stars.
The Miyin project envisions sending four light-collecting telescopes and a beam combiner to Sun-Earth Lagrange point 2.
The main objective would be to detect potentially habitable terrestrial planets orbiting Sun-like stars in our neighborhood within the Milky Way.

The unique twist to these robots is that they will be controlled by operators sitting in a country far away on the continent of Africa.
Both inside and outside the solar system, aurorae light up the skies of planets, moons, and a variety of other celestial objects.
For example, the Sun's solar wind, which is packed with charged particles, washes over Earth and our protective magnetic shield, the magnetosphere.
"The magnetotail is like a cooker that accelerates electrons from Earth's space and dumps them into the polar regions," Eftyhia Zesta, a space physicist at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, tells Astronomy.

Star Trek has been home to countless worlds over the various shows and movies which make up the franchise's enormous universe. However, in that time, not all of those planets have made it out as safely as the characters who visit them.
The Romulan Empire would eventually recover, instating New Romulus as the new capital of the Star Empire and a new home world for all Romulans in 2409. Still, this event had large-reaching repercussions in the universe.

Earlier this year, astronomers announced that a tiny world beyond Neptune with a diameter about one-third that of Earth's moon possessed a Saturn-like ring that should not be there. It now turns out that there are two such "impossible" rings.
"It was a big surprise," said Chrystian Luciano Pereira, a doctoral student at the National Observatory in Brazil who led the observations of the world, known as Quaoar. "This implies that Quaoar is a more complex system than we initially thought."

It's easier to make decisions when the economy is growing, as bad choices can get subsidized by the more well-targeted choices. But in a tighter economy, bad decisions are more exposed, and costly. But in this era of data analytics, there will be fewer bad decisions, right?
In fact, 64% of employees — and 70% of business leaders — would prefer to have a robot make their decisions. Many see analytics as simply out of their reach.

Beijing, Apr 26 (EFE).- China will begin searching for habitable planets outside the solar system in 2030, utilizing high-resolution imagery and spectroscopic investigations, Chinese space experts have said.
The under-development plan called “Miyin” is a hunt for more habitable planets, said Zhang Xuhui, executive vice president of the China Academy of Aerospace Science and Technology Innovation.
In reality, a military base or quarantine zone would be extremely safe. Slow, rotting corpses wouldn't stand a chance against the sheer firepower of the U.S. military. However, that doesn't make for compelling cinema.
Despite the military's epic arsenal — including everything from pistols to nuclear bombs — there is nothing that can keep a platoon from being overcome by a horde of flesh-eating former civilians.

We'll be in touch with the latest information on how President Biden and his administration are working for the American people, as well as ways you can get involved and help our country build back better.

A University of Georgia research team has confirmed evidence of a previously unknown planet outside of our solar system, and they used machine learning tools to detect it.
A recent study by the team showed that machine learning can correctly determine if an exoplanet is present by looking in protoplanetary disks, the gas around newly formed stars.
