UFO Hunter Tom DeLonge’s Agency Signs Contract With U.S. Army – NBC 7 San Diego

In 2015, DeLonge (who also masterminds the pop/rock group Angels & Airwaves) founded To the Stars Academy of Arts and Sciences (TTSA), an organization established to pursue research into UFOs and extraterrestrial existence. At first glance, it seemed like DeLonge was just diving headfirst into harebrained conspiracy theories and perhaps obliging his longtime UFO obsession a little too much.

However, as more and more headlines poured out over the last four years (and more insight was gained into what, exactly, TTSA aims to do) DeLonge and Co. have now legitimately silenced any doubters.

Giant Chinese Telescope Joins the Search for Alien Radio Signals | Daily Planet | Air &

The problem with many so-called alien encounters is that the claims are based on eyewitness reports that are not always reliable. While I think scientists sometimes too easily dismiss such accounts, the underlying truth is that any science investigations have to be based, by their very nature, on experiments and reproducibility. And when it comes to alien visitations, those standards can be difficult or impossible to apply.

The credibility of UFO reports is not helped by the fact that 99 percent of them can be easily explained as natural phenomena. Others are outright hoaxes. As for the rest of the one percent, some events are stubbornly difficult to explain, which is why the government has long investigated UFOs . Not that the investigators turned up evidence of aliens.

NASA scientist says space alien search should be more 'aggressive' | SETI Institute

Experts may have been too quick to discount the possibility that alien UFOs have paid Earth a visit.

Put more succinctly, academia doesn't put a whole lot of credence in the incessant claims that some of the thousands of UFOs sighted every year are actually alien craft . But at least one scientist has recently gone on record suggesting that the clipboard-carrying crowd should be a little less sure.

That scientist is Silvano Colombano, a computer expert and roboticist at NASA's Ames Research Center in the heart of Silicon Valley. He was a presenter at a conference about new approaches in the search for extraterrestrial intelligence (SETI) held earlier this year at the SETI Institute in Mountain View, California. Colombano says the skeptical attitudes of most researchers might be too cramped. They could be throwing the infant out with the bath water.

NASA Photo Captures Strange Alien Vessel In Earth's Orbit, UFO Expert Claims

A UFO expert claimed that NASA's photo of the Moon accidentally showed a strange-looking alien spacecraft hovering in low-Earth orbit. According to the expert, the alleged UFO in the photo is a rare one due to its shape.

The strange object was spotted by Scott Waring of the UFO-centered blog ET Data Base . He came across the object in a photo featured in the website Gateway to Astronaut Photography of Earth , which houses a collection of images taken during NASA's space missions.

2,600 UFO Sightings In Ohio So Far In 2019: What They Saw | Lakewood, OH Patch

LAKEWOOD, OH — On September 9, just before 7 p.m., a Lakewood resident was walking back to their house, with their 5-year-old son in tow. They were playing with dragonflies and fireflies when something caught the resident's eye. They saw a cigar-shaped burst of light moving south across the sky.

The cigar-shaped light was only in the sky for 10 seconds, but it shook the Lakewood resident enough that they wrote a detailed post on its appearance and direction. "The speed that it was moving was much greater than anything that I have seen before," they wrote. It flew out of eyesight, behind a group of condos, before the resident could fully analyze what they were seeing.
