NASA has just started accepting applications from wannabe astronauts who would like to travel to the Moon and potentially Mars.

NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine said: "America is closer than any other time in history since the Apollo program to returning astronauts to the Moon.
"We will send the first woman and next man to the lunar South Pole by 2024, and we need more astronauts to follow suit on the Moon, and then Mars.

Routine radio-frequency testing of moon-bound Orion spacecraft begins
Electromagnetic compatibility or EMC testing is routine for spacecraft. All electronics emit some form of electromagnetic waves that can cause interference with other devices. Think of the buzz that speakers give out right before an incoming call on a mobile phone.
Spacecraft electronics can cause similar interference, but out in space such interference can have disastrous consequences, so all systems must be checked before launch.
EMC tests often take place in a special shielded room constructed of metal walls and doors and foamy spikes (aka absorbers) that block out unwanted external electromagnetic radiation, like ESA's Maxwell chamber at its technical site in the Netherlands.
Kai Moon Wins America East Player of the Year - FOX 40 WICZ TV - News, Sports, Weather, Contests
Bearcats Senior Guard Kai Moon was named the America East Player of the Year. She is the third player in Binghamton University program history to win the award, and the second in the last three seasons as Imani Watkins won it in 2018. Moon finished the regular season leading the conference and 11th in the nation in scoring averaging 20.4 points per game. She also leads the conference in steals per game with 2.3 and 3-pointers made per game at 2.97.
"It's not just me by myself," says Moon. "This was a whole production to get me to where I am not only as a player but as a person. This is an award I wish that I could give to them all as well because I couldn't do this without their help."

Earth adopted a new "mini-moon" - Axios
A likely "mini-moon" found orbiting Earth last month is moving away from our planet now, but it could be a harbinger of new small moons to come.
Why it matters: Objects like this one — which is thought to be a washing machine-sized asteroid captured by Earth's gravity — could allow scientists to one day study space rocks without needing to head all the way out to the asteroid belt.
What's happening: The mini-moon, named 2020 CD3, has likely been orbiting Earth for the past year, but it's taken until now for scientists to spot the small object.
A Short History of Earth's New Moon - The Atlantic
It is not the kind that will illuminate the night sky. It's invisible to the naked eye and too tiny to do any classic moon moves, like tugging on the planet's oceans. But it's there, orbiting the Earth, accompanying us on our journey around the sun.
A pair of astronomers discovered the miniature moon on the night of February 15. It showed up in the nightly observations of the Catalina Sky Survey, a NASA-funded project in Arizona. The survey is designed to study asteroids and comets near Earth, the kind that could potentially menace the planet if they got too close. To Kacper Wierzchos and Teddy Pruyne, the mystery object appeared as a few pixels of light moving quickly across a dusky, fixed background.
A "Full Worm Moon" Is Happening on March 9 - Supermoon in March
When’s the best time to see it? The moon will appear full from dusk until dawn on both March 8 and March 9. It’ll reach its peak fullness at 1:48 p.m. EDT on Monday. So give spring an early welcome and gaze at this year’s brightest full moon yet.
