“We’re actually creating an entirely new process using 3-D printing to build the whole thing,” said Relativity Space CEO Tim Ellis, “which is how we think the future is going to be.”
The president wants us back on the moon by 2024 and on Mars by the mid-2030s. That’s welcome news to Janet Petro , who oversaw her first launch of the shuttle Atlantis back in 2007, in her new role as Kennedy Space Center Deputy Director.

All five remaining instruments on NASA's venerable Voyager 2 spacecraft are back to gathering science data after power overuse in late January interrupted the probe's operations .
"Voyager 2 has returned to normal operations following the anomaly on Jan. 25, 2020," NASA officials wrote in a statement . "The five operating science instruments, which were turned off by the spacecraft's fault protection routine, are back on and returning normal science data."

After a decade of on-again-off-again launch plans, Virgin Galactic says it expects to make its first commercial space tourism flight later this year, with founder Sir Richard Branson as the first person on the six-passenger spaceship called Unity.

Dramatic effect of coronavirus lockdowns seen from space | Space
The new coronavirus' impact on China is so stark that it can be seen from space — as a dramatic drop in air pollution, according to data from U.S. and European satellites.
"This is the first time I have seen such a dramatic drop-off over such a wide area for a specific event," Fei Liu, an air quality researcher at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, said in the statement.
A NASA Earth Observatory image, visible at the top of this article, shows an astonishing decline in NO2 between January and the start of February.
