Last year, NASA set itself an ambitious goal : Send astronauts to walk on the moon in 2024. Now, the agency is busy planning what astronauts will do during those excursions.
Science isn't the limiting factor, of course: Scientists have been itching to get back to the moon's surface for ages. But discussions surrounding the Artemis program have tended to focus on the challenges that need to be tackled before the first crewed landing in 2024 or on the agency's long-term vision for the moon, rather than on the practical details of taking advantage of early moonwalk opportunities.

A "ring of fire" solar eclipse crossed over Africa and Asia this weekend, and the view from space was spectacular.
"Super cool view of the Annular Solar Eclipse which passed by our starboard side as we flew over China this morning," NASA astronaut Chris Cassidy wrote on Twitter . "A pretty neat way to wake up on Father's Day morning! Hoping all of the dads in the world have a wonderful day!"

A "ring of fire" or annular eclipse occurs when the moon passes between the sun and Earth. But, unlike during a total solar eclipse, the moon isn't close enough to Earth to block out all of the sun's visible disk.

Argentinian Mauro Colagreco already uses biodynamic principles -- following the natural cycles -- in the kitchen garden of his Mirazur restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean on the French Riviera.
