Rock Star's Company Seeks UFOs, Finds Military Contract | Space
A private company that researches UFOs has a new contract with the U.S. government, for developing technologies that could enhance ground vehicles in the military.
Other divisions at TTSA focus on new technology. On Oct. 17, TTSA representatives announced that the group had entered into a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) with the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command, according to a statement .

The five-year contract outlines a research collaboration, and the U.S. Army will provide at least $750,000 in support and resources for developing and testing TTSA technologies, Motherboard reported on Oct. 21.
UFO Sightings by US State: February 2020 - The Grey Area News
In February 2020 , around 400 US UFO sightings were reported to either the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC) or the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) — while there is overlap, some reports are only in one database or the other.
These are the reported sightings. Note that sightings are sometimes reported months or years later, and these numbers may go up over time.
To search the MUFON database and read details of reported accounts, or to report your own sighting of a flying object you could not identify, visit www.mufon.com . Membership is available for those interested in more intensive database searches and access to other MUFON resources.
UFO Sightings Will Soon Peak. Don't Blame The Government
A crescent Moon and the planets Mercury and Venus over the European Southern Observatory's (ESO) ... [+] Paranal Observatory in Chile.
However, before you start to panic, know that the bright light is nothing more than a close planet coming back into view after a while behind the Sun.
It is, of course, super-bright planet Venus and–for a limited time only–it can be seen with the hardest-to-see tiny planet Mercury.

Venus has been hidden for a while observable only before dawn for much of 2019, and until recently lost in sunlight. It reached what astronomers call "superior conjunction" (when it appears to go behind the Sun from our point of view on Earth) back in mid-August, but it's only now beginning to move away from the glare of the setting Sun. The same goes for Mercury, which was hidden by the Sun's glare completely during its superior conjunction on September 4.

Navy withholding data on UFO sightings, congressman says - POLITICO
A top Republican on the House Homeland Security Committee is accusing the Navy of withholding information about reports of unidentified aircraft after officially requesting more data on the mysterious encounters.

Navy Undersecretary Thomas Modly responded in a brief letter on July 31 that "the Department of the Navy takes these reports very seriously and continues to log sightings and fully investigate the accounts," according to a copy provided to POLITICO.

The War Zone obtained the eight hazard reports, all of which are marked "Unclassified" and "For Official Use Only," via a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to the Naval Safety Center. Seven of them involve F/A-18E/F Super Hornets and occurred at various times between 2013 and 2014 in a patch of airspace off the coast of Virginia and North Carolina known as the W-72 warning area.
The FOIA officer handling our request said that these were the only eight reports in the Web-Enabled Safety System (WESS) Aviation Mishap and Hazard Reporting System (WAMHRS) to deal with naval aviation encounters with unidentified objects, balloons, and any other similar objects anywhere. WAMHRS is a centralized computer database that is supposed to contain all such hazard and flight incident reports that Navy aviation units file with the Naval Safety Center.
UFO sightings are on rise in western Pennsylvania - The Morning Call
PITTSBURGH — While the Kecksburg UFO sighting has become a quaint part of local lore, more recent reports of unexplained aerial phenomena are getting serious attention from Congress, the U.S. military and longtime UFO watchers.
"It's not going away," retired journalist Bob Gatty said. "Whether you believe or don't believe in this stuff, the fact remains there is a lot happening for some reason."
Gatty, who originally reported on the Kecksburg incident for the Tribune-Review in 1965, recently noted on his blog NotFakeNews.biz that the Navy issued new guidelines to fighter pilots regarding UFO sightings, and members of Congress are seeking more frequent briefings on the subject.
UFO sightings have been steadily decreasing since 2014 - Insider
In early June, three US senators were given classified information by the Pentagon on UFO sightings — the latest group of government officials to be briefed on UFOs. It came amid news that US Navy pilots were reporting increased encounters with UFOs.
But an INSIDER analysis of UFO sightings reported by civilians found that sightings have been steadily decreasing for the past five years, after a peak in 2014.
