Quite a lot has been going on:

The U.S. Military Has Officially Published Three UFO Videos. Why Doesn't Anybody Seem to Care?

On April 27, 2020, the U.S. Department of Defense issued a public statement authorising the release of three "UFO" videos taken by US Navy pilots.

The footage appears to depict airborne, heat-emitting objects with no visible wings, fuselage or exhaust, performing aerodynamically in ways that no known aircraft can achieve. The DoD doesn't use the terms "unidentified flying object" or "UFO" but does clearly state "the aerial phenomena observed in the videos remain characterized as 'unidentified'."

See any UFO's in Northwest Florida? Defense officials want to know

WASHINGTON — If "the truth is out there," as the tag line for the old "X-Files" TV series insisted, it might just be flying across Northwest Florida skies — and the government wants to know about it.

Earlier this month, the Department of Defense (DoD), under some pressure from Congress in the wake of sightings of thus-far unidentified flying objects in military airspace, established an Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon Task Force.

* * *

In the dry words of a Department of Defense news release, the department established the task force "... to improve its understanding of, and gain insight into, the nature and origins of UAPs." But, perhaps more than just improving its understanding of UAPs, the task force wants "to detect, analyze and catalog UAPs that could potentially pose a threat to U.S. national security."

Many things are taking place:

Farewell to Pete Way, the debauched bassist with a frontman's swagger | Pop and rock | The

UFO, who had begun as a bluesy, slightly dull space rock band, were transformed when the wunderkind German guitarist Michael Schenker joined in 1973. Very quickly they shifted to a melodic hard rock, and by the late 70s they were a very distinctive group indeed, with Schenker's guitar lines intertwining with Paul Raymond's keyboards and Way's bass playing, which rarely took the least-resistance path of playing endless root notes.

‘Black triangle’ UFO sightings around the planet span decades | KRQE News 13

MYSTERY WIRE — Huge, silent, unknown craft have been reported flying over populated areas dating back decades. What are they?

Black triangles or boomerang shaped objects, some larger than any known aircraft, have been documented, even filmed, over cities all across North America, as well as in Europe. If they’re a classified military project, investigators wonder, then why are military jets scrambled to go after them?

“They launched on several occasions top-of-the-line military aircraft against these things and they were left in the dust,” says Dr. Colm Kelleher of the National Institute for Discovery Science. “One minute they’re overhead, and the next they’re over the horizon.
