Raleigh, N.C. — Multiple locals sent in images and video of a strange object seen in the sky on Friday evening.
WRAL photojournalist Richard Adkins caught video of the object streaking across the sky in Johnston County.

Another viewer said, "At dusk today we saw these unidentified lights. We are located in Fuquay, very close to Lillington (Christian Light and Revels Rd). We are out in the country with very little street lights. Odd behavior by these lights."

Nov. 17 - Leo Morris: It's still 2020, what's next? | Columnists | fwbusiness.com
It's such a perfect little story to illustrate this awful, awful year of the pandemic, cities overtaken by anarchy and an election from hell.
A deer jumped through a window into an empty classroom at Blackhawk Middle School in Fort Wayne. After trashing the room for 45 minutes, the deer jumped back through the window and ran away. Spokeswoman Krista Stockman said that while the situation was surprising, "it's 2020."

That should be added to the catalog of verbal shrugs we use to stoically accept our fate in an indifferent universe where anything can happen.

Joey Bunch: "The clock is the enemy of President Donald Trump and U.S. Sen. Cory Gardner, and every second Republicans spend talking about Hunter Biden is less time they have to make the case to keep running the country."
Joey Bunch: "After eight years of no-drama Obama, 46.1% of American voters were ready to be wowed, loud and proud, like a WrestleMania of politics and grievance.

Joey Bunch : "I have some ideas about what's in front of us, based on what history, smart people and consistent polling tell me, in that order. Donald Trump needs his 2016 dominoes to fall again, effectively run the table, and I don't see it. U.S. Sen. Cory Gardner goes down with the good ship and crew of the S.S. Trump."

LETTER: What next: FBI probes of UFO sightings? | Letters to the Editor | observer-reporter.com
Should we worry that a large number of votes for Joe Biden in Pennsylvania were actually from the planet Mars instead of Mars, PA? Should we be concerned that Tucker Carlson and other pundits stand by the unsubstantiated claims of fraud by Donald Trump? What about stories involving Hunter Biden which the Wall Street Journal has debunked?
Fox News and Karl Rove, along with many others, have called the race for President-elect Joe Biden. No credible claims exist to refute that fact. It is sad that many people are more inclined to believe conspiracy theorists, pro-Trump fanatics and what they see on Facebook rather than what is reported by credible news outlets. What is even sadder is when some who are well-informed will, for political reasons, support and spread false claims.
Mysterious light brightens the sky over Hampton Roads | 13newsnow.com
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — A strange light display caught the attention of many people across Hampton Roads on Friday afternoon.
Several people reached out to 13News Now asking about a strange lighted object that light up the clouds and slowly moved across the sky as the sun set around 5:30 p.m.
We reached out to both NASA Wallops Flight Facility and NAS Oceana. We haven't heard back yet from Oceana, but a spokesperson for Wallops confirmed the object didn't come from them.

Indie Film: Filmmaker follows Sabattus woman into the woods in ‘Pine State Phantoms’
But sometimes what seem like fictional scares turn out to be, just maybe, real things going bump in the night, too.

For those out there who doubt all this paranormal stuff entirely (including, to his regret, this author) and wonder why anyone would watch a movie about such things, well, that's what we love to do, isn't it?
Well, that would be spoiling things, wouldn't it? That said, the fact that Brislin's original YouTube incarnation of "Pine State Phantoms" caught the eye of Maine producer Benjamin Elliott should provide hint enough that Brislin and his crew didn't come home empty-handed. Elliott's RuralChaos.TV has just released a DVD version of "Pine State Phantoms," which you can get through the company site or at your local, always Maine-friendly Bull Moose location .
