Of course, most science journalists have already been alerted to the presence of aliens by any number of readers who would like to testify about their personal E.T. encounters.
And so I would be willing to come out of retirement and conduct such an interview if any Galactic Federation alien monitoring Science News would be willing to submit to some tough questions. Only condition would be the alien must wear a high-quality mask, covering its damn nose if it has one.

Florida second most "haunted" state in UFO sightings, alien-activity
Florida is considered the second most "haunted" state because of its high number of UFO and alien-related-activity sightings, according to a recent study that used data from the National UFO Reporting Center in Washington .
With 6,693 sightings in Florida reported to the UFO center since 1998, it falls short only to California, with 13,767 incidents, the study said. Nevada, home to the infamous, alien-ridden Area 51, did not make the Top 10.

Cairo, Egypt (CBS) The Great Pyramids of Egypt, have been inscribed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List since 1979.
The ancient site hit the headlines recently for an unexpected reason – after Tesla CEO Elon Musk tweeted the pyramids were built by “aliens”.
The tweet prompted fury in Egypt. Archaeologist and former antiquities minister Zahi Hawass described the claim as “completely hallucination.”

Van Tassel had an interest in the metaphysical sciences before he moved to the desert and evolved into speaking to space beings.
