Is a UFO in these photos from South Florida? | abc10.com

Some people in South Florida on Tuesday thought they saw a UFO, but it turned out to be a Navy missile test launch.

People posted photos and videos to social media showing a strange light with a tail, similar to a comet, flying across the sky. CBS News meteorologist Zach Covey tweeted it was a Trident-II ballistic missile being tested from a submarine.

Reports of UFOs over Utah are from Elon Musk's latest project | ABC4 Utah

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) – Reports of a line of UFOs seen flying in Utah’s stormy skies have been circulating since about 5:30 a.m. With storm clouds rolling in, did people really see something in the skies?

* * *

According to Jennifer Campbell of West Valley City, “Early in the morning, I saw them flying in a straight line, there was a fleet of them flying over the Mountains.”

When she told ABC4 what she saw, we spoke with meteorologist Adam Carroll about what she might have seen. Adam could not say if the cloud cover broke where she might have been seeing something from space. Adam said, “There was a lot of c l oud cover with the approaching storm. We should call the Air Force first.”

A mystery animal swoops past a deer in this trail cam photo

To be perfectly honest, the acronym “UFO” doesn’t really work for today’s reader-submitted trail camera photo. Instead, I probably should have used “UFA” — Unidentified Flying Animal.

That’s Ken Beland’s thought, anyway: The Newport man is quite confident that the shiny image in this photo is a critter of some kind or another. But what is it?

“I enjoy playing the ‘what is it?’ game in the trail cam series. Here is another night photo with uncertainty that you are welcome to use,” Beland said. “What is certain is the spike buck on the left side of the picture. What is less certain is the UFO to the right of the deer and closer to the camera.”
