The Michigan Mutual UFO Network, which records and investigates UFO sightings, reported 233 sightings across Michigan in 2020 - including two in Monroe County.
Kristy Mariano was inside her Detroit Beach home late last Sunday night when she happened to notice something peculiar outside of her window. Many of her neighbors were outside gawking up at the sky.
Taking her dog with her, Mariano went into her backyard to see what all the fuss was about. When she looked up, she couldn’t believe what she saw.

New Pentagon task force to investigate UFOs
Declassified footage from a US Navy F/A-18 purports to show a UFO flying at high speed somewhere "off the East Coast of the United States in 2015."
There's a new task force that will detect, analyze and catalog Unidentified Flying Objects, UFOs (or in military speak Unidentified Aerial Phenomena, UAP).
The Department of Defense announced on Friday that it had approved creating the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force on Aug. 4. The Department of the Navy will lead this task force.
