Good Morning, Buffalo: Nursing home hit with second-highest federal fine in N.Y.

During a Covid-19-focused inspection last spring at the Buffalo Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, inspectors observed a certified nursing assistant and housekeeper entering the rooms of Covid-19-infected residents and then entering the rooms of uninfected residents without changing into new personal protective equipment and taking other precautions.

Two employees at the Buffalo Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing on Delaware Avenue were spotted in April by health inspectors failing to take precautions to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

WINNIPEG -- There's been a significant increase in UFO sightings across Canada during the pandemic, according to a UFO researcher.

Chris Rutkowski, a ufology researcher, said Canada keeps track of all the UFOs reported throughout the years.

The 5 Most Credible Modern UFO Sightings - HISTORY

In 2017, several news organizations revealed the existence of the Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program (AATIP), a U.S. government-funded program that investigated unidentified flying objects between 2007 and 2012. This secret $22 million program, however, was not the first of its kind. Official government UFO studies began in the late 1940s with Project Sign , providing some of the most credible videos of aerial phenomena to date.

UFO sightings in North America jumped to nearly 6,000 in 2019 - ABC News

There was a rise in the number of North Americans who looked up into the sky in 2019 and found something that didn't look like a bird or a plane.

Peter Davenport, who runs the independent organization that's based in Davenport, Washington, said he couldn't explain why more people called about seeing flashing white lights, fireballs, disc-shaped objects or other oddities in 2019.

"One of the mysteries of ufology is there is a fluctuation in the number of reports over the years," he told ABC News in a phone interview. "Some years it's been low, but it's gotten higher recently."
