Yesterday, Deborah Sass and Thomas Reemer, the co-CEOs of Space Hero , signed a feasibility agreement with NASA, marking the 60 th anniversary of the first human in space, Yuri Gagarin. For two compassionate entrepreneurs, sending someone like you or me barreling through the atmosphere is their dream that is quickly becoming a reality. And Stephen Colbert featured the project on a segment he calls Space News last week.
Space Hero's story begins with Reemer, who was hawking a music show in Russia in 2008. One night, a powerful Czar took him out to dinner and pitched him on the lofty concept of a show that sends one winning civilian to space. After raising funds and building out the idea, the show was shelved as seats to the ISS were unavailable for private missions. A few years later, with the emergence of SpaceX and Boeing programs, seats became available once more, and Reemer revived the show.

The recently released trailer for F9 seems to confirm The Fast Saga is heading into space, but the franchise isn't taking the concept too seriously just yet. After being pushed back several times due to the coronavirus pandemic, the ninth installment of the adrenaline-inducing series is finally set to debut in June. According to the trailers, F9 will once again propel the plot to greater heights, figuratively and literally.
In true Fast & Furious fashion, F9 is set to feature a handful of wild mind-bending stunts. Among them is the presence of a rocket car made from a Pontiac Fiero, first shown in the first F9 trailer. The car can be seen driven by a distressed Roman Pearce (Tyrese Gibson) as it races alongside some kind of jet. The existence of a rocket car initially spawned rumors, suggesting The Fast Saga was gearing up to explore uncharted territory: space.

Blue Origin, the rocket venture founded by Amazon's Jeff Bezos, executed what it called an "astronaut rehearsal" Wednesday of its suborbital New Shepard rocket, launching the craft to the edge of space after having employees board as if they were going to travel with it, then disembarking before liftoff.
It was the second time this year that the rocket had launched successfully as Blue Origin prepares for what it hopes one day will be missions carrying paying passengers. The demonstration took place at Blue Origin's launch site in West Texas. (Bezos also owns The Washington Post.)

A mazon's chief executive Jeff Bezos has denied that the company treats its warehouse workers like "robots" in his final letter to shareholders.
The 57-year-old founder, who will step down to become executive chairman after June, said its staff are not subject to "unreasonable performance goals" and get proper breaks to rest and use the toilet.
However, he said that he takes no comfort in Amazon's recent victory over union organisers at its warehouse in Alabama , and that the shopping giant must give workers a better deal.

The former finance chief of space-travel company Virgin Galactic Holdings Inc., which went public in 2019 , joined a satellite observation startup to aid its growth.
San Francisco-based Capella Space Corp. on Wednesday named Jon Campagna as its first chief financial officer. Mr. Campagna, who joined the company in March, previously served as Virgin Galactic's CFO for about three years until February. In that role, Mr. Campagna oversaw the firm's 2019 acquisition by a special-purpose acquisition company. He joined Virgin in 2015 from aviation company ICON Aircraft Inc.
