A U.S. government report on unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), or what used to be called unidentified flying objects (UFOs), did not find evidence that they are alien spacecraft, though the report also does not exactly say they aren't, The New York Times reported.
Citing unnamed government officials, the Times wrote that the UFO report, commissioned by Congress and set to be released in a few weeks, does not reach a definitive conclusion about what U.S. military pilots and hundreds of others have reported seeing or have filmed over decades.

The object in the sky appeared to move in circles, leaving witnesses stunned. One witness claimed the object looked like it was a ball of fire that hovered in circles. In a video and statement submitted to the UFO investigation network MUFON, the camera person was amazed by what they were seeing.
The statement said: "I was walking down the Talgarth Road in Kensington. It was snowing and so as you could imagine, I wasn't exactly looking up.

The 23-year-old filmed a mysterious black object as it travelled across the sky above Leicestershire.
"It was not a UFO as in a flying saucer shaped craft - it was the shape of a very large black penny stood up on its side," he said.
John, who used to run a company supplying the clothing trade with zips and other trimmings, said he saw the strange object as he enjoyed some sunshine at about 1pm.

One woman, Ms Renata Veloso, alerted the police to an object which she saw descend from the skies “like a lightning bolt” just before a football game between Brazil and Portugal.
The reporting officer said: “I walked to the window and saw a huge luminous object (hexagon) accompanied by two other smaller spherical ones that rotated under its orbit.”
It added: “One of the smaller objects was silver and the other was red, like red hot iron (it changed colour).”
