The small chopper surpassed the 1-mile (1.6 km) mark of its total flight distance on Saturday (July 24) when soared over a rocky region called "Raised Ridges" at its Jezero Crater home.
Flight 10 was the most challenging yet for Ingenuity, with 10 different waypoints for the helicopter to hit as it flew over its "Raised Ridges" target. It reached a maximum altitude of 40 feet (12 meters), a new record height, and flew about 310 feet (95 m).
Inside Mars, NASA's InSight Mission Mapped Surprises Down to the Core - The New York Times
The fate of almost everything on Earth's surface is determined by infernal engines deep below. Mars is no different.
Paired with recent activities at the surface by new NASA and Chinese robotic rovers, these missions highlight stark differences between our blue world and the red one next door.
Nasa probe determines Mars' internal structure - BBC News
Scientists say they now have some absolute numbers to describe the internal rock structure of Mars.
The Nasa-led mission reveals the average thickness of Mars' crust to be between 24km and 72km - somewhat thinner than had been expected.
But the key finding is the size of the planet's core. Its radius of 1,830km is at the top end of previous estimates.

The interior of Mars revealed | Science
The interior of a planet holds important clues to its origin and thermal and dynamic evolution.
Core of Mars is shockingly big, NASA's InSight mission reveals
The solar system's god of war has a bigger heart than expected: Using humankind's first seismometer on another planet , researchers have analyzed the interior structure of Mars for the first time, including its oversize liquid core.
On Earth, seismic waves can reveal our planet's inner structure by revealing boundaries deep underground where the waves' speeds and directions change.
High radiation, low gravitation: The perils of a trip to Mars - ABC News
Besides packing enough fuel and air and water and food for the seven-month-long journey to Mars (and more for a return trip if you want a return ticket), there are other luxuries we enjoy here on Earth that the spaceship will have to provide if we want to stay healthy during the long flight.

Look: China's new Mars rover returns latest batch of stunning images
On May 14, 2021, the China National Space Agency (CNSA) achieved another major milestone when the Tianwen-1 lander successfully soft-landed on Mars, making China the second nation in the world to land a mission on Mars and establish communications from the surface.
Shortly thereafter, China National Space Agency (CNSA) shared the first images taken by the Tianwen-1 lander.
RAGBRAI 2021 departs Le Mars with more than 15,000 riders on route
The 2020 edition of RAGBRAI was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the first time the annual, seven-day ride hadn't been held since its founding in 1973. For many riders, its return felt like a dose of freedom after the long months of isolation, quarantine and maintaining social distance.
