Lake Erie: Anglers were needing to go further out or south to 27 feet of water. The white bass fishing slowed down considerably. Sheepshead are still common on slower crawler harnesses. Green bottom bouncers are hitting well and fish are low and dispersed.
Harbor Beach : A few smallmouth bass were caught in the harbor casting various artificial baits. Some lake trout were taken straight out and north of the harbor using dodgers and spin and glows and spoons in green, blue, and white with pink dots in 130 feet of water.

AIB presents report on eight air mishaps
The Nigeria Accident Investigation Bureau, AIB, has released a report on eight airplane accidents in the country, detailing casual factors, contributory factors, and safety recommendations.
The report entitled "Release of Eight Accident Reports", released at a briefing in Abuja, focused primarily on the eight accidents, that covers the period between 2010 and 2019.

Public Health Order The State of Colorado enacted its fourth amended public health order relating to COVID-19 on June 30. Order 20-38 strongly encourages regular testing of unvaccinated persons in congregant settings and requires unvaccinated folks in those settings to wear a mask.
I-70 closures The Colorado Department of Transportation was again kept busy over the weekend clearing debris from mudslides in the Glenwood Canyon. Recurring mudslides have forced closures of the section of interstate a handful of times.
Govt. securities come calling - BR Research - Business Recorder
The government has been generous to big businesses, in this budget. One of the steps to encourage direct investment of businesses and high net worth individuals (HNIs) in government securities is to reduce the tax on the profits in government securities to 15 percent.
One obvious advantage is to have higher direct investment in government securities which will give competition to banks and may improve yields.
