ExoMars rover: The next big Mars mission is taking off

Jamboree of champions: Fyffe overpowers Mars Hill

A week before the start of the high school football season, two of North Alabama's championship teams took the field against each other.

The jamboree matchup featured two teams with a history of success and they have the blue maps to prove it.

“I think it helped both teams for your conditioning and really getting out and playing off blocks, tackling and that kind of thing,” Fyffe’s Paul Benefield said.

Space Conference at MSOE highlights student prototype that could one day see Mars

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Space Conference at Milwaukee's School of Engineering (MSOE) on Friday, Aug. 13 brought NASA employees and students who hope to one day work for NASA.

EarthSky | Are Mars' subsurface lakes really lakes?

In 2018, the European Space Agency’s Mars Express orbiter found the first evidence for an underground lake on Mars. The lake was deep below the south polar ice cap. What an exciting discovery!

New studies by two different research teams have now cast some doubt on that original discovery.
