Nasa scientists spot unusual set of rings around black hole with companion star - Hindustan Times
Astronomers have spotted a spectacular set of rings around a black hole in an image captured using Nasa's Chandra X-ray Observatory and Neil Gehrels Swift Observatory.
"The black hole is part of a binary system called V404 Cygni, located about 7,800 light-years away from Earth. The black hole is actively pulling material away from a companion star — with about half the mass of the Sun — into a disk around the invisible object.
NASA Chandra Shares Image Of Unusual Set Of X-Ray Rings Around A Black Hole! - Science
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) recently shared an unusual set of X-ray rings around a #BlackHole with a companion star. The image has been shared by NASA Chandra's official Instagram account and has received over 25,000 likes and 89 comments.
The caption for the image states, "⚫⭐Scientists have spotted an unusual set of X-ray rings around a #BlackHole with a companion star. These rings are created by light echoes, a phenomenon similar to echoes on Earth from sound waves bouncing off hard surfaces". Check out this mysterious image:

NASA Captures Stunning Image of Black Hole With Huge Rings: What Is the Chandra X-Ray Observatory?
A new incredible image of rings around a black hole has astounded astrologers. The observation was captured using NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory and Neigh Gehrels Swift Observatory. Now, scientists are looking into how dust is located in our galaxy.
The Chandra X-ray Observatory is special space telescope whose mission is to detect X-ray emission from very hot regions of the universe. These areas of high temperatures include exploded stars, clusters of galaxies and matter around black holes.
