There's only one more week until the end of Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 7. There's no confirmation from Epic Games just yet as to what players can expect from the launch of Season 8, but there are some rumors that a new open-world RPG mode will be coming to Fortnite soon.
Some Fortnite players might be perplexed as to why they need to warn NPCs of danger, but it makes sense considering there's a season-ending event called Operation: Sky Fire happening this week that will once and for all conclude the alien-invasion plot.
