Windsor & Maidenhead dedicated school grant could have £5m blackhole | Royal Borough Observer

SCHOOLS have been warned of a potential £5m funding blackhole in the borough by 2023 if no action is taken.

At a virtual schools’ forum meeting on Thursday, October 21, members were told the Royal Borough could be seeing a £3.4m deficit in its dedicated school grant (DSG) – a ring-fenced allocation of government money to fund schools and services, by March 2022.

Treasury says UK net-zero strategy will mean tax rises to fill £37bn gap : CityAM

US Imprisons Bulletproof Hosting Providers - Infosecurity Magazine

Two men from Eastern Europe have been imprisoned in the United States for helping cyber-criminals carry out cyber-attacks against individuals and financial institutions in America. 

Pavel Stassi, a 30-year-old Estonian, and 33-year-old Aleksandr Skorodumov, of Lithuania, received custodial sentences for providing bulletproof hosting services that were used to distribute malware from 2009 to 2015.

Net zero strategy: Government plans will 'support up to 440,000 jobs', minister says - as plans

Making a statement on the government's aims in the Commons, Greg Hands told MPs the strategy "is not just an environmental transition, it represents an important economic change too".
