Elon Musk says SpaceX will fly humans to Mars within 10 years

Billionaire Elon Musk predicted Tuesday that SpaceX will be able to fly humans to Mars within the next 10 years.

Musk made the bold prediction during an appearance on the Lex Fridman podcast. The Tesla founder reiterated his view that humanity should become a "multi-planet species" and detailed SpaceX's plans to develop the necessary technology for the trip.

Huge Supply of Water Discovered on Mars, Frozen at the Bottom of its Grand Canyon

Scientists peering into the depths of Mars’ own grand canyon have found that water makes up as much as 40% of the ground there, an enormous amount considering its near to the hot dry equator of the Red Planet.

Covering 15,800 square miles (41,000 square kilometers), the area of water is larger than the Netherlands.
