NDAA defense spending bill clears Congress. Here's what's in it.

WASHINGTON – The Senate passed a crucial defense spending bill Wednesday that now heads to President Joe Biden's desk for his signature.

Additionally, it would include nearly $28 billion for nuclear weapons programs and provides a 2.7% pay increase for Defense Department civilian employees and military service members.

Former Aurora City Manager Accused of Stealing More Than $300,000 – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

The former Aurora city manager was jailed Thursday on charges she stole more than $300,000 from the Wise County town of 2,500.

Toni Wheeler was charged with theft over $300,000 by a public servant and released from the Wise County Jail on a $100,000 bond.

There are fewer UFO sightings in NYC in 2021

UFO sightings nosedived 41% in 2021, down to 27 from 46 the year before, according to  the National UFO Reporting Center .

Whether COVID put aliens on lockdown or Gotham gawkers just weren’t stargazing this year, the reason for the decline is unclear.

$770B defense bill includes agency to investigate UFOs

A provision buried deep in the $770 billion annual defense bill that the US Senate passed on Wednesday calls for the creation of a new agency to investigate reports of UFO sightings.
