With significant advances in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and robotics applications in many services, the question arises whether the future of banking services will be in the hands of robots, or will humans still have a role to play?
Some countries with a penchant for using advanced technology, especially in Asia, seem to be opting for robotics, exemplified by Shinhan Financial, which owns South Korea's oldest and second largest bank, which introduced virtual robots as bank tellers.
Engineers Design Robots to Fight Invasive Fish - Unite.AI
A team of researchers has designed a robot that scares away the invasive mosquitofish, which bites off the tails of freshwater fish and tadpoles to eat their eggs.
The international team consists of biologists and engineers from Australia, the United States, and Italy. They looked at the largemouth bass, which is the moquitofish's natural predator, in order to draw inspiration for the new robots.
