NASA plans to take International Space Station out of orbit in January 2031 by crashing it into

The space agency has targeted the most remote point of the ocean to crash land the space station when its time finally comes. After that, NASA plans to buy time for its astronauts on commercial space stations.

NASA has published plans for the future of the International Space Station which could see the 444,615kg structure taken out of orbit in January 2031 and crashed into a "spacecraft cemetery".

Mars rover Perseverance collects new sample after clearing pebble clog | Space

NASA's Mars rover Perseverance has snagged a sample to replace the material that got stuck in its throat.

Perseverance drilled into a rock called Issole on Dec. 29, 2021, collecting its sixth cored sample since touching down inside the Red Planet's Jezero Crater last February.
