Samsung data breach: Hackers steal data from microchip giant

Samsung has confirmed that a hacking group that stole data from microchip giant Nvidia last week has also infiltrated its systems and leaked confidential source code and algorithms of its various technologies.

Lapsus$, an organization of hackers, claimed responsibility for the data breach in a post on the encryption messaging platform Telegram.

Ukraine hackers target GLONASS for cyberattacks - GPS World : GPS World

Ukraine’s hacker underground named GLONASS as one of its top priorities, according to media reports that cite a post on the “IT army” Telegram channel.

The IT army, formed on Saturday, is a collective of volunteer hackers. “We need to mobilize and intensify our efforts as much as possible,” the IT army posted.

Cyber-attacks keep increasing and evolving but, regardless of the degree of complexity used by hackers to gain access, get a foothold, cloak their malware, execute their payload or exfiltrate data, their attack will begin with reconnaissance.

Hackers are using stolen Nvidia certificates to hide malware | Digital Trends

Nvidia code-signing certificates that were extracted from a recent hack of the chip maker are being used for malware purposes, according to security researchers.

Hacking group LAPSUS$ recently claimed to have stolen 1TB of data from Nvidia. Now, sensitive information has appeared online in the form of two code-signing certificates that are used by Nvidia developers to sign their drivers.
