This week Sarcos Technology and Robotics Corporation ("Sarcos") (NASDAQ: STRC and STRCW) announced a merger with RE2 Robotics , creating a team dedicated to delivering robots that can solve difficult and dangerous problems for the aviation, construction, defense, energy and medical industries.

Walgreens turns to robots to fill prescriptions, as pharmacists take on more responsibilities

NORTHLAKE, Texas — Bright yellow robotic arms are becoming a bigger part of Walgreens ' workforce.

Walgreens Boots Alliance is opening the automated, centralized hubs to keep up in the fast-changing pharmacy industry .

That has forced Walgreens and its competitors, CVS Health and Rite Aid , to rethink the role of their stores and pharmacists.

"Robots for crop care have just the right future"

On 7 January 2022 it was exactly 100 years ago that Robur was founded. The Westland company has been active in horticulture ever since, currently as a specialist in robots for crop care.

The anniversary did not pass unmarked, particularly for managing director/owner Jan van Staalduinen thanks to a small staff party. On the special Friday he received a video message from Bouke Arends, Mayor of Westland, who praised one of the 'founding Westland companies'.

How eye imaging technology could help robots and cars see better -- ScienceDaily

Even though robots don't have eyes with retinas, the key to helping them see and interact with the world more naturally and safely may rest in optical coherence tomography (OCT) machines commonly found in the offices of ophthalmologists.
