Interesting to know that Canadian Solar is Chinese. I wish I could understand what is the process for separating photovoltaic strips from silicon solar cells for use in shingled solar panels.

Myths that Solar Owners Tell Themselves – Energy Institute Blog

Argument #1: "You claim that I get paid the retail price for electricity that my panels send into the grid, but I just looked at my bill and I actually get paid less than 4 cents per kWh for exports.

Argument #2 : "When I inject electricity into the grid, my utility sells it to my neighbor for the retail price, so if they pay me the retail price, it's a wash." Alas, no.

Infamous asteroid Apophis 'rediscovered' as scientists test asteroid defense mechanisms | Space

A test of whether asteroid defense systems could spot a potentially hazardous near-Earth asteroid on its closest approach successfully "rediscovered" the infamous asteroid 99942 Apophis , which will make a close encounter with our planet in 2029.

For this asteroid defense exercise, all previous data on Apophis were made inaccessible. This meant that astronomers had to start afresh during the asteroid's close approach , which began in December 2020 and culminated in March 2021.

Has NASA found Hell?

The planet in question is 55 Cancri e, which is also known as Janssen. The exoplanet orbits a star called Copernicus about 41 light years away, according to NASA. In terms of astronomical distances, this one can be considered a close neighbor.

"With surface temperatures far above the melting point of typical rock-forming minerals, the day side of the planet is thought to be covered in oceans of lava," reported NASA. "Imagine if Earth were much, much closer to the Sun. So close that an entire year lasts only a few hours.
