Starfield planets – all known worlds and systems | The Loadout

Want to know more about the Starfield planets? In the Xbox and Bethesda showcase, it was revealed that Starfield would contain “over 1,000 planets” situated in over 100 different star systems. That’s a lot of planets, but those numbers aren’t just for show.

We currently only know about a handful of these Starfield systems and the planets contained within them, but what we can reveal is everything we know so far about them from which Starfield factions call these planets their homes to which planet has shown off Starfield’s outpost system, ...

Physics - One Model to Describe Them All—Well, Ice Giants Anyway

When it comes to space missions, the focus has largely lain with planets close to Earth, with those farther afield being left out in the cold. But that is about to change with a dedicated mission to Uranus slated for the 2030s.

While there have been no previous stand-alone missions to Uranus and Neptune, the planets have not been completely ignored. For example, as NASA’s Voyager 2 passed by the ice giants in the late 1980s, it collected information about the reflectance of both worlds.
