Los Alamos — where discoveries are made — announces the return of the town's iconic annual event, Los Alamos ScienceFest. Running July 12–17, this year's event features hands-on activities, an electric vehicle show, movies, concerts, lectures and family fun events.

CAPSTONE Makes First Course Change – SpacePolicyOnline.com

NASA’s CAPSTONE lunar cubesat successfully executed its first course change today after a communications glitch was resolved. The tiny spacecraft is taking a unique Ballstic Lunar Transfer trajectory to the Moon and will not arrive until November 13. At the moment, all is well.

RIT faculty and alumni receive NASA funding to develop new diffractive solar sail concepts

"In phase II of the NIAC program, we demonstrated that a diffractive sail could achieve the mission with a much smaller sail compared to a reflective sail," said Swartzlander.
