Space science lab marks new breakthrough - Opinion - Chinadaily.com.cn

Wentian, the first lab module of China's space station, successfully docked with the core module, Tianhe, on Sunday.

The world's first space station, the Soviet Union's Salyut, was launched in 1971 and the International Space Station, headed by the United States, Russia and other countries, was launched in 1998, providing a good platform for the participants to do experiments there.

Aditya L1 is an Indian satellite mission meant to study the Corona(outer layers) of the Sun and explore related sciences, Chandrayaan-3 is the third Lunar mission and the country's second Lunar Landing attempt, XPoSAT is meant to study the Polarization of X-Rays in Space.

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is well-known for having performed space science missions such as Chandrayaan 1 & 2 (Lunar orbiter and observation missions) and Mangalyaan (Mars Orbiter Mission), among others.

Russia Is Leaving The International Space Station, in a Dramatic End of an Era

Moscow said Tuesday it was leaving the International Space Station "after 2024" amid tensions with the West, in a move analysts warned could lead to a halt of Russian-crewed flights.

The confirmation of the long-mooted move comes as ties unravel between the Kremlin and the West over Moscow's military intervention in Ukraine and several rounds of devastating sanctions against Russia, including its space sector.

South Korea is ready to launch its 1st moon mission | Space

The Korea Pathfinder Lunar Orbiter , or KPLO for short, is scheduled to launch atop a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket next Tuesday (Aug. 2).

In May of this year, KPLO was officially named "Danuri," a blend of two Korean words that mean "moon" and "enjoy."

The test lunar orbiter will carry a total of six payloads. Five were developed by Korean universities and research organizations, including the Korean Aerospace Research Institute (KARI), and the other is from NASA.

Space summer school receives huge response

The week-long 6th Space Summer School (SSS) continues successfully on its second day at the Institute of Space Technology, with a number of students participating from all over the country exploring science, technology and its applications.

The Space Summer School began on Monday (yesterday) and was arranged by the National Center of GIS and Space Applications (NCGSA).
