A new way to Discover Planets?

Although we have found thousands of exoplanets in recent years, we really only have three methods of finding them. The first is to observe a star dimming slightly as a planet passes in front of it (transit method).

Each of the methods we currently use has its drawbacks.

Thanks to radio observatories such as ALMA, we have gotten a good view of early debris disks around very young stars. These disks emit a faint radio glow that ALMA is particularly effective at seeing.

Astronomers Uncover New Evidence of Baby Planet in the Making

By Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics September 17, 2022 Artist's illustration of a small Saturn-like planet discovered in the system LkCa 15. The planet resides within dense rings of dust and gas that surround a bright yellow star.

A new technique has been developed by astronomers to identify small planets hidden in protoplanetary disks. According to astronomers and astrophysicists, planets are born in protoplanetary disks — rings of dust and gas that surround young, newborn stars.

Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLTs)- as a counter to the growing threat of Centralisation - ...

'Distributed Ledger Technologies' (DLTs) can be used to counter the growing threat of centralisation from both state actors and monolithic tech-companies.

'Nodes' are individual peers within a Blockchain network that maintain a record of the ledger thereby being involved in the process of storing, verifying, and distributing the full set of data with other participant nodes on the blockchain.

The Development of Artificial Intelligence in the People's Republic of China - Modern Diplomacy

In this article, we will examine one by one the points that do not yet enable studies and developments on artificial intelligence in the People's Republic of China to rise to 100% of the international advanced level.

Many AI companies and some local governments lack vision and pursue short-term economic benefits, hoping to achieve clear economic returns within one-two or two-three years. This results in a large number of AI start-ups eager for quick success, albeit with lack of confidence and weak development.
