Danger! Humongous asteroid coming dangerously close to Earth today | Tech News

Last 2 days have broken the pattern of asteroid flybies that were happening every day. There was no asteroid posing a threat to Earth yesterday, but one is coming today, and it is huge. NASA has warned that a humongous asteroid, named Asteroid 2020 PT4 is heading dangerously towards Earth.

SHOCKING: Planet Earth seeks asteroid to strike it

NASA recently intercepted a desperate cry for help from planet Earth to any asteroid capable and willing to strike the planet and eliminate humanity.

Just by chance NASA scientists found an encrypted message being beamed out into the cosmos earlier this week. It turns out the Earth is concerned about the recent technological development of its least favorite animal.

NASA’s first asteroid deterrent test is 2 weeks away

We are less than two weeks from the first ever Double Asteroid Redirection Test mission, where NASA will test a new planetary defense system that involves slamming a satellite into an asteroid, opening a new era for the solar system.

While it won't be as dramatic as Bruce Willis and Ben Affleck's hit movie "Armageddon," DART will be a significant milestone for the space agency when it slams headfirst into a small asteroid on Sept. 26, destroying itself, NASA shared.

NASA to crash a spacecraft into an asteroid in humanity's first planetary defence test | ...

It's the familiar plot of every 'end of the world' movie: an asteroid is on a collision course with Earth, and the only one who can save humanity is Bruce Willis in a space jumpsuit.

While the 90s cult classics Armageddon and Deep Impact may only be science fiction, NASA is taking planetary defence seriously.

Up until now, the asteroid known as (22) Kalliope was deemed to be rather lonely. Well, not entirely lonely, as it actually has a moon in orbit: Linus .
