Our Solar System #SpaceSaturday #Google #NASA « Adafruit Industries – Makers, ...

The stars of the project [other than the sun] are the AR planet models. Each model can be viewed rotated and projected.

Check it out and while you are at it NASA’s own solar system exploration page isn’t too shabby either.

The Discovery of a Second Interstellar Meteor - The Debrief

In a new paper with my student, Amir Siraj, we have identified a second interstellar meteor, IM2, in the CNEOS fireball catalog of NASA. The two interstellar meteors are meter-scale objects that collided with Earth from a trajectory that was gravitationally unbound to the Sun.

The first interstellar meteor, CNEOS 2014-01-08 (IM1), that Amir and I discovered in 2019 , was confirmed at the 99.999% confidence level by a letter from the US Space Command to NASA.

Why? "Number one, the Inflation Reduction Act [signed by President Biden last month] increased the federal tax credit from 26% to 30% for 10 years," says Court Weisleder, founder and president Go Solar Power, a Boca Raton-based solar installer now operating in eight states.

Randall Munroe Answers Absurd Science Questions | Time

I t’s a pretty safe bet that nobody is going to fill the solar system with soup, out to the orbit of Jupiter.

That fact, however, did not stop a five year old girl named Amelia from asking about the possibility on the website xkcd.com , hosted and written by Randall Munroe, 37, the author of 2014’s bestseller What If? and the just-released sequel What If? 2 .

Saturn's Rings and Tilt Could Be the Result of an Ancient Missing Moon - The Debrief

Of all the planets visible to stargazers on Earth, Saturn, the sixth planet from the sun in our solar system, is by far the most unique in appearance.

“It has these prominent set of rings where we’re not quite sure where they came from,” explained Burkhard Militzer , a professor of Astronomy at the University of California Berkeley, in an interview with the Debrief . “[Saturn] also spins on the side about 27 degrees.
