The Constellation of Starke Creatives Network and Prairie Trails Club welcomed the public to the unveiling of the 'Our Solar System in Scale' project.
Starting at the Erie Trail just east of the Hoosier Valley Rail Museum in North Judson, the OSSIS Installation depicts the planets in our solar system down to a scale of 1:355 million.
What Is Jupiter Made Of? - WorldAtlas
Jupiter is primarily composed of only two ingredients: hydrogen and helium. Hydrogen makes up roughly 90% of Jupiter's total composition, while helium makes up nearly all of the remaining 10%.
Although hydrogen makes up 90% of Jupiter's total composition, not all of Jupiter's hydrogen comes in the form of a gas. Around 25,000 miles below Jupiter's atmosphere, there exists a layer of liquid metallic hydrogen.
Rooftop wind system delivers 150% the energy of solar per dollar
Aeromine says its unique "motionless" rooftop wind generators deliver up to 50% more energy than a solar array of the same price, while taking up just 10% of the roof space and operating more or less silently. In independent tests, they seem legit.
Distributed energy generation stands to play a growing part in the world's energy markets. Most of this currently comes in the form of rooftop solar, but in certain areas, wind could definitely play a bigger part.
'Same old stuff' comes around again | MyRGV.com
If you never have read Dr. Seuss' book Bartholomew and the Oobleck, you will not appreciate the comment 'same old stuff'' in our skies. However, the same old stuff is one thing we can count on as earthlings.
When columns seem to repeat, it is mainly because those 'same things' are in our sky at the same time each year and will remain as long as your mind can comprehend. The star patterns are no longer THE constellation they name.
NASA's Lucy spacecraft swings by Earth on its way to Trojans | Digital Trends
NASA’s Lucy spacecraft is on its way to the Trojan asteroids to learn about the formation of the solar system , but it isn’t traveling in a straight line from Earth to the orbit of Jupiter.
Here's @LucyMission during today's Earth gravity assist. Screengrab from observations made by @plutoflag .

Be careful where your take your iPhone 14 or Apple Watch, because under the right circumstances , you might end up swatting yourself.
Hilarity ensued, of course, as long as you weren’t someone with a legit emergency who experienced a delayed response because of this. We’d have sworn that having a system auto-dial 911 was strictly illegal for just this reason, but apparently not.
Pioneers Of Australian Solar Energy Revealed
This article celebrates some of the events and people who pioneered the modern solar energy revolution in Australia over the past 80 years. Without these pioneers, Australia would not be the world leader in residential solar that it is today.
The first reported Australian domestic solar hot water heater was built by CSRI’s (now CSIRO) Roger Morse at Meringa Station near Cairns in Queensland. The system had a 20 square feet (1.9 m2) collector area and 40 gallons (180 litres) storage with no auxiliary heating.
