3-day international space technology conclave from Oct 15

New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras and US Consulate will host a three-day international conclave titled 'Space Technology' from October 15-18, officials said.

The conclave, to be organised on IIT-Madras campus, will attract participation from national and international space agencies, government bodies and the private sector with a focus on Indo-Pacific countries, they said.

According to the US space agency, new NASA -funded technology for upcoming space missions may recharge an electric car in just five minutes on Earth.

In order to conduct two-phase fluid flow and heat transfer studies in the long-duration microgravity environment on the International Space Station, Purdue University researchers in the US developed the Flow Boiling and Condensation Experiment (FBCE) (ISS).

Space Company Tests Giant Satellite-Launching "Slingshot" | Ancient Origins

A company called SpinLaunch has developed a new system for sending satellites and other heavy payloads into space. The engineers at this U.S-based startup designed and built a gigantic outdoor accelerator that functions essentially like a slingshot .

Space Force's digital push focuses on 'Spaceverse'
