2023: Deploying space technology can aid free, fair elections – NASRDA — Daily Nigerian

The National Space Research and Development Agency, NASRDA, said that space technology has the capacity to monitor elections for minimised malpractices.

Dr Bonaventure Okere, the Director of Centre for Basic Space Science, CBSS, an activity centre of NASRDA, said this on Wednesday in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria.

China to use space station to test space-based solar power - SpaceNews

HELSINKI — China intends to use its newly-completed Tiangong space station to test key technologies required for space-based polar power, according to a senior space official.

Robotic arms already operating on the outside of Tiangong will be used to test on-orbit assembly of modules for a space-based solar power test system, Yang Hong, chief designer of the Tiangong space station said in a presentation at the ongoing China Space Conference.

Taiwan eyeing space tech cooperation with Germany, France - Focus Taiwan

Taipei, Nov. 23 (CNA) Taiwan is seeking to build cooperation with Germany and France on space technology, according to the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC), which has sent a delegation to Europe to explore that possibility.

The delegation, led by NSTC Minister Wu Tsung-tsong (吳政忠), has already met with aerospace leaders in France and Germany to discuss the latest developments in the field and the future priorities of the two European countries, the NSTC said in a press release Tuesday.
