Int'l science payloads to enter China's space station next year: official-Xinhua

China will also welcome astronauts from other countries to enter its space station to conduct experiments, said Ji Qiming, assistant to the CMSA director, at a press conference.

Dragon Docks to Station with Solar Arrays and Science – Space Station

The Dragon launched on SpaceX's 26th contracted commercial resupply mission for NASA at 2:20 p.m. EST, Saturday, Nov. 26, from Launch Complex 39A at the agency's Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

China unveils Shenzhou-15 crew for space station mission-Xinhua

JIUQUAN, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- Chinese astronauts Fei Junlong, Deng Qingming and Zhang Lu will carry out the Shenzhou-15 spaceflight mission, and Fei will be the commander, the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA) announced at a press conference on Monday.

ESA - Webb reveals an exoplanet atmosphere as never seen before

The NASA/ESA/CSA James Webb Space Telescope just scored another first: a molecular and chemical portrait of a distant world's skies.

The telescope's array of highly sensitive instruments was trained on the atmosphere of WASP-39 b, a 'hot Saturn' (a planet about as massive as Saturn but in an orbit tighter than Mercury) orbiting a star some 700 light-years away.

This 239-year-old technology could revolutionize astronomy

NASA's Balloon Program Analysis Group recently presented a roadmap to NASA to guide them on how to plan and fund future balloon astronomy programs.

The first modern balloon-based scientific experiment was in 1912 when Austrian physicist Victor Hess lifted 3 electroscopes to an altitude of over 17,000 feet (although meteorologists had been using balloons to measure air temperature at different altitudes as far back as the late 19th century).
