US Space Force data reveals Chinese mystery plane released object in orbit | Fox News

Fox News' Chad Pergram reports on increasing congressional concern over UFOs posing future threats to the U.S.

The U.S. Space Force this week detected a Chinese reusable spaceplane releasing an object in orbit, officials revealed Friday.

The U.S. Space Force's 18th Space Defense Squadron determined the object is likely in "very close" proximity to the Chinese craft at a distance of less than 200 meters, according to Orbital Focus. The object may have separated out in the week prior to its detection on Monday.

ChinaSat 19 | Long March 3B/E | Everyday Astronaut

The China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) — the main contractor working in the Chinese space program — successfully launched the ChinaSat 19 satellite (also Zhongxing 19, or ZX-19) atop a Long March 3B/E rocket, to a geostationary transfer orbit (GTO).

Not much is known about the ChinaSat 19, though it is considered to be a high-throughput communications satellite that will operate in the Ka-band. As is the case with many of the “ChinaSats,” it will most probably broadcast television and radio, and relay data.
