A Bright Green Comet May Be Visible Jan. 2023: How To See It – NBC4 Washington

A comet last in the solar system about 50,000 years ago should be visible in the morning sky this month with a telescope and likely with just binoculars, NASA reports.

The comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF), a name that NASA acknowledges is a mouthful, is passing through the inner solar system. It will approach closest to the Sun on Jan. 12, and to Earth on Feb. 2.

Why return to the moon? NASA hopes to never leave. - Washington Post

The moon NASA is seeking to visit is not the same moon that Neil Armstrong and the rest of the Apollo astronauts left behind some 50 years ago.

It is not the bone-dry mass that scientists had thought it to be for generations, including when Armstrong first stepped foot near the moon's equator in 1969.
