This concept spacecraft could swiftly send a one-ton spaceship to the edge of the Solar System

Today, multiple space agencies are investigating cutting-edge propulsion ideas that will allow for rapid transits to other bodies in the Solar System.

It would take spacecraft using conventional propulsion anywhere from 19,000 to 81,000 years to reach even the nearest star, Proxima Centauri (4.25 light-years from Earth).

Searching for dark matter in our solar system - Advanced Science News

Since the 1930s, astronomers have postulated that approximately 85% of the matter found in the Universe is made up of a hypothetical form of matter that does not emit, reflect, or absorb light, lending it its name: dark matter.

This mysterious entity is thought to exist because the observed amount of ordinary matter was insufficient to explain some of contradicting astronomical data, such as higher-than-expected rotation rates of stars to certain peculiarities of the cosmic microwave background radiation left over ...

Sun is a big source of energy. It provided us with both warmth and light. But did you know that this huge ball of fire also protects us? Yes, this is what NASA has said. The Sun is constantly spewing material that acts like a protective bubble around the solar system- a shield.

It further added that of the spacecraft sent from Earth , only the twin Voyager spacecraft, travelling since 1977, have been confirmed to have made it beyond the boundaries of this bubble, called heliosphere.
