With the construction industry in crisis, a robot may build your home - The Washington Post

Self-driving trench diggers. Drones that digitally re-create buildings. Roomba-like devices that outline where every beam on a floor should go.

The construction site of the future is already here as homes, office buildings and industrial sites go up around the country. Robots that can lay bricks, put up drywall and tie rebar are pitching in at a time when the construction industry is in major flux.

Robot Love: Celebrating four years of Starship robot deliveries at Mason | George Mason University

It was January 2019 when George Mason University became the first college campus in the United States to offer autonomous food delivery through Starship Technologies. Now Mason and Starship are celebrating four years of autonomous robot deliveries.

The service launched with 25 robots, which was the world's largest fleet of delivery robots. The fleet has now grown to nearly 60 robots, serving the Fairfax Campus. The robots have delivered more than 333,000 orders and brought national and worldwide attention to Mason.

New computers help Polk Middle STEM students work with robots, coding - The Tryon Daily Bulletin | ...

Thanks to the generosity of community members, students in Leslie Rhinehart's STEM class at Polk County Middle School were able to explore robotics and coding.

Students in each grade level were able to utilize the donated computers to study a variety of robotic builds and coding experiences.
