New Jupiter moons: Planet has most in solar system after 12 discovered

There's a new moon king in our solar system: 12 new moons were discovered around Jupiter, which makes it the planet with the most moons.

Jupiter is already the biggest planet in our solar system. It used to be known as the planet with the second-most moons with 80, trailing only Saturn with 83.

Some planets seem to have it all. Jupiter is the largest in the solar system, sporting a distinctive and fashionable red spot, subtle but elegant rings and dozens of moons.

Jupiter takes the crown from Saturn in terms of moon count. The rival ringed gas giant has 83 known moons.

SPACE WALK: Epic solar system trail arrives in Northern Ireland this month | The Irish Post

A UNIQUE sculpture trail is set to arrive in Northern Ireland this month – offering the chance to experience a journey through an epic scale model of the solar system.

Incorporating a 10km sculpture trail and an interactive AR app, the super-squashed solar system installation, at a scale of 591million to one, will be in Co. Down from from February 24 to March 26.
