NASA's Webb uncovers new details in Pandora's Cluster

NASA has released a new image from the James Webb Telescope. The new image shows a region of space know as Pandora’s Cluster – showing three distant galaxies coming together.

Astronomers have revealed the latest deep field image from NASA's James Webb Space Telescope, featuring never-before-seen details in a region of space known as Pandora's Cluster (Abell 2744). Webb's view displays three clusters of galaxies – already massive – coming together to form a megacluster.

Marion County sixth grader's science experiment headed to International Space Station - ...

A sixth grader in Marion County went above and beyond to ensure that her hard work and experimentation as a former student at Dr. N.H. Jones Elementary School did not go unfinished.

During the previous school year, Collins Sheldon – now a sixth-grade student at Howard Middle School – participated in the Student Spaceflight Experiments Program (SSEP) while attending Dr. N.H. Jones.

Roscosmos Reviews Soyuz, Progress Vehicle; Science and Cargo Ops Keep Crew Busy – Space ...

Engineers at the Roscosmos Mission Control Center continue to evaluate a coolant leak from its Progress 82 cargo spacecraft identified on Feb. 11. The cargo spacecraft has been docked to the station's Poisk module since October 2022.

Roscosmos engineers continue to investigate the cause of coolant loss from both the Progress 82 spacecraft and the Soyuz MS-22 spacecraft. The crew is continuing with normal space station operations and scientific research.

Meteorite found! Space rock from fireball over Europe located | Space

Volunteers searching north of Rouen, France near the northern coast spotted a meteorite from fireball event 2023 CX1. 

The space rock originated with a small asteroid that burned up dramatically over Europe around 10 p.m. EST Sunday, Feb. 12 (0300 GMT Monday, Feb. 13), just hours after astronomer Krisztián Sárneczky discovered it from a telescope in Poland.
