'Nobody is Safe': In Wild Hacking Spree, Hackers Accessed Federal Law Enforcement Database

Hackers stole $390k from Poolz Finance

Cross-chain Web3 platform Poolz Finance ( POOLZ ) lost $390,000 to a hacking incident on Mar. 16, according to Forkast News’ report.

Hackers attacked Poolz Finance’s token vesting protocols on the Binance Smart Chain ( BNB ) and Polygon ( MATIC ) chains, Forkast News noted . The attack was first noticed by crypto sleuth PeckShield , who Tweeted the problem to warn Poolz Finance.

CISA: US agency breached by cybercriminals, gov't hackers

Cybercriminals and a government-backed hacking group had access to the systems of an unnamed federal civilian executive branch agency from August 2022 to January 2023.

In a report released Wednesday by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), FBI and other agencies, officials said hackers used several vulnerabilities affecting products from Bulgarian software developer Progress Telerik.
