University of Arizona opens new research facility dedicated to space science and similar fields | ...

The University of Arizona recently opened its latest facility known as the Applied Research Building. Standing at three stories tall, the facility is expected to continue UA's research in space science and related fields.

"We have everything from high bays for putting together spacecraft and balloon payloads to clean rooms for building sensors to a mission control center," he said.

How are Hubble Space Telescope images made? | Space

Since its launch in 1990, the Hubble Space Telescope has made more than one million observations of the cosmos, broadening humanity's knowledge of the cosmos almost immeasurably.

Yet Hubble doesn't see the universe as we do. The telescope views the cosmos across a broad range of light wavelengths, some of which our eyes are incapable of seeing.
