About 5 billion years ago, our Sun began to turn hydrogen into helium at its core to become a fully-fledged star. This baby Sun was surrounded by a disk of material – mostly hydrogen from the nebula it formed, but also more complex molecules.

Make "Solar System" Plots With {ggsolar} - Security Boulevard

I was cranking out a blog post for work earlier this week that shows off just how many integrations our platform has. I won’t blather about that content here, but as I was working on it, I really wanted to show off all the integrations.

Then, it dawned on me that I could make a visual representation of all the integration partners we have by thinking of the entire integrations’ ecosystem as a "universe" with each category being a "solar system" of that universe.

Tiny Spacecraft Using Solar Sails Open Up a Solar System of Opportunity - Universe Today

Some parts of the solar system are exceptionally hard to reach. Despite the interesting scientific data we could collect from that location, we’ve never managed to send a probe to one of the poles of the Sun.

Cost is one of the main bottlenecks for a lack of exploratory missions to these parts of the solar system. Large-scale missions like Voyager and New Horizons cost hundreds of millions of dollars and take decades to plan.

Europe's JUICE Jupiter mission launches April 13. Here's what it will teach us | Space

On Thursday, April 13, the Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer (JUICE) will lift off from the European Space Agency's (ESA) spaceport in Kourou, French Guiana, beginning its 8-year journey to the gas giant Jupiter.
