The Federal Aviation Administration says the mysterious object that damaged a Kentucky man's mobile home earlier in October did not come from an airplane .
And Norfolk Southern Railway says its nearby rail lines have nothing to do with the canister-type object that hit the home in Burgin, roughly 75 miles southeast of Louisville.
What about the National Guard or the Fort Campbell military base? Could the object have possibly come from one of their units?

Today, the mystery remains unsolved, but it continues to fascinate extraterrestrial researchers, psychologists and history buffs alike.
Others gave similar accounts, including Holland Police Officer Jeff Velthouse and a meteorologist from the National Weather Service Office in Muskegon County. What's more, the meteorologist recorded unknown echoes on his radar the same time Velthouse reported the lights.

Video of a “random flashing” object in the sky outside Greensboro, North Carolina, has ignited an ongoing debate on social media, including claims others have seen the same mystery object.
In the 5-minute video -- which is magnified and slowed down -- the “pill-shaped” object is seen soaring through the sky and producing a series of flashes.
The video was posted Saturday and has been viewed thousands of times since being picked up by YouTube channels devoted to UFOs and unsolved mysteries, including the Hidden Underbelly 2.0 .

Say you’re out walking in the desert and see a flash of light in the sky that you can’t identify. If this happened between 1952 and 1969, you could report that light to Project Blue Book , the U.S. Air Force’s project to investigate unidentified flying objects—aka, UFOs.
Project Blue Book was the longest-running official government inquiry into UFOs. Based at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio, the project investigated thousands of incidents. An official questionnaire asked UFO sighters to describe exactly what they saw and when they saw it. A section of the questionnaire instructed:
