According to the National UFO Reporting Center , at least 117 unidentified flying object reports have been filed in Colorado throughout 2019. A Patch.com article puts this number much higher, closer to 1,800 .
The sightings include spottings of odd lights, disks, spheres, fireballs, and cigar-shaped craft, among other things. It's also worth noting that the sightings span the state, occurring in crowded places like Denver and Colorado Springs, as well as sparsely populated places like South Park and Westcliffe – one of the darkest towns in the country .
