The array of textures and colors laid out seamlessly by architect Lelia Arruda at Friedman Benda's exhibit completely captivated us. Several Campana Brothers chairs made from stainless steel, wicker, and handcrafted leather are a neutral counterpart to the Jonathan Trayte's Seussian pink lamps and funky lounge chair made from the unlikely blend of sheepskin, cowhide, marble, and woven polyester cord. The space is finished off with three Misha Kahn mirrors for a moment we won't forget.
There's a New Record for the Most Massive Black Hole Ever Seen: 40 Billion Solar Masses -
Astronomers have spotted a 40 billion solar mass black hole in the Abell 85 cluster of galaxies. They found the behemoth using spectral observations with the Very Large Telescope (VLT.) There are only a few direct mass measurements for black holes, and at about 700 million light years from Earth, this is the most distant one.
Inside the Abell 85 cluster lies Holm 15A , a brightest cluster galax y (BCG.) That means it's the brightest galaxy in the Abell 85 cluster. The center of Holm 15A is diffuse, and very faint, even though the galaxy itself is very luminous, and has a visible mass of stars totaling two trillion solar masses. This apparent discrepancy caught the eyes of researchers at the Max Planck Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics (MPE) and the University Observatory Munich (USM.)

Growing up in the late 80's and 90's, the favorite weekend pastime of my brothers and I was playing video games. Keep in mind that this was a time before high-speed internet, before 65" flat screens and before wireless controllers even. This meant we used to take turns or play at the same time, but always sitting right next to each other. Our friends came over to play games, and we even took our consoles with us when we went to visit family.
